IDEA LAB OVERVIEW

The AICTE-IDEA (Idea Development, Evaluation, and Application) Laboratory at UIET, Kurukshetra University is a central hub for innovation, creativity, and hands-on learning. Established under the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) initiative, this lab fosters design thinking, Interdisciplinary collaboration, and practical skill development among students and faculty members.

To develop an ecosystem among students and faculty for the development of innovative and sustainable solutions to real life problems and technological developments.

Mission

• Encourage experiential learning by integrating Design Thinking, Prototyping, and problem-solving skills into the academic ecosystem.
• Provide open access to advanced tools, equipment, and resources for students, faculty, startups, and industry collaborators.
• Promote innovation and entrepreneurship through interdisciplinary projects addressing local and global challenges.
• Facilitate industry-academia interaction to align learning with emerging technologies and market requirements.
